Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage pioneered the capital introductions concept more than ten years ago to effectively connect clients with target investors. The Capital Introductions team has since created a pre-eminent franchise on Wall Street and has become the market leader in fund launches, capital raised, conferences and events.
The Capital Introductions team utilizes a unique, three-step approach that is tailored to every client. We spend significant time understanding client needs and goals and we distinguish ourselves from the competition through our solid client-side experience. Whether launching a new fund or diversifying an investor base, we help develop strategic positioning, implement capital raising solutions and provide support throughout the process.
The Capital Introductions team has developed long-standing relationships with more than 1,800 global institutional investors, both large and small, including pensions, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, family offices, consultants and funds of funds. Our services facilitate the introduction of managers to qualified institutional investors based on an informed understanding of interests, and our proprietary relationship management system allows us to keep abreast of general industry trends, capital flows and preferences.
In addition, we have been highly successful in our global capital raising efforts, making great strides in the Middle East and Asia. Moreover, we are the first capital introductions group with a full-time professional based in the Middle East.
The Capital Introductions team—the largest on the Street—is comprised of more than 40 professionals organized regionally with offices in New York, Westchester, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Paris, Dubai, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney and functionally according to hedge fund strategy and investor verticals.
